Coloured Pencil Portraits

Coloured pencil drawings have become more popular option over the last couple of years. Thier pencil form lends itself to the same level of detail that can be achieved with graphite pencil portraits but it can go one step further and show the unique colours of your pet. Coloured pencils are particularly good at describing the shine of an animals coat. Coloured pencils as a pose to pastels are semi-transparent which means they allow for layering to get a more realistic and 3D effect.
